Useful information:
- Prague is the biggest city in Czech Republic and also its capital – it is a historical city that could remain its ancient charm and is located in the centre of the country
- The university has a buddy system and is located 15 minutes by bus from the city centre
- The city has a stunning and picturesque old town - museums, art galleries, theatres, opera houses offer a diverse cultural programme – famous sights like the Charles Bridge, the Astronomical Clock and the Prague Castle round off this offer
- Prague is very known for its extraordinary nightlife – bars, clubs and discos of every kind can be found there; Throughout the year there are also several different music festivals hosted in Prague
- Just like in many metropolitan areas, the food scene is very diverse and multicultural – restaurants of many different cuisines can be found; Traditional Czech Food is very similar to other Central European cuisines and should definitely be tried; Prague is also very known for its cosy pubs and good Czech beer – when you have the chance, you should definitely participate in a pub crawl or beer tasting
- Prague has a lot of shopping facilities to offer as well as wellness facilities, parks, gardens and a botanical garden; But not only relaxation is on the day’s schedule but also sport activities – segway tours, outdoor and indoor sport activities and all kinds of extreme sports
- The city has a very good developed public transportation system – you can travel from every spot by buses, tram or metro and it is a lot more convenient than driving with a car
