Accommodation: Students in Almeri´a normally live in shared self-catered flats. The University of Almeri´a has no dormitory rooms or halls of residence.
The Erasmus Students Association will help you on arrival to contact other students and landlords so you can settle down as soon as possible. Nevertheless, finding the right place to live could take a few days depending on needs and budgets.

- Almería is a harbour city in the south of Spain in the province Andalusia
- The city has a North African citystyle, with white houses, gardens, narrow streest and palm alleys
- A highlight in Almería is the yearly festival "Feria de Almería" in the end of August; The festival is accompanied by sport events, riding shows, bull fights and crafts exhibitions; During the festival you can get traditional food and local wine in food stands; In party tents you can listen to music or watch local dances; At the same time is also the "Festival de Flamenco" and the "Festival Folclórico de los Pueblos Inbéricos y del Mediterráneo" in Almería
- Many western movies have been produced in the area around Almería because of its unique appearance - weathered rock formations, deserts, dune landspaces, as well as abandoned fincas and weir systems
- Almería also has many in- and outdoors restaurants, bars, clubs, and also offers a huge variety of different sport activities including extensive sunbathing at the beach
