• Porsgrunn is located in the Telemark region, which is known for its stunning natural landscape; Hiking, cycling, mountain climbing, horse riding, skiing, fishing and boat tours are very popular activities; There is also a waterpark and a maritime museum and science centre, which are both very popular amongst kids and youngsters
• In Porsgrunn you can visit the only porecelain factory in Norway or the historical gardens; You can also enjoy good food in one of the many restaurants or you visit a food festival; You can also go on a "food journey" through the region
