Starting your reliable research

Leitir.is is the National Union Catalog (NUC) for all Icelandic libraries. Here you can find both items held at Bifröst University library or broaden your search to other university libraries in Iceland. If items are not available at your library, you can request an Interlibrary loan. The NUC also provides access to tens of thousands of e-journals and databases and will lead you through to a fulltext article you can either save on your device or print out. Should you not get online access to an article you need, contact the library for service.

Searching for E-journals

All e-journals available to you, you will find links to the journals where you are able to browse through issues and get fulltext articles. The journals are also integrated into the union catalog Leitir.is.
